With the Call of Duty MW3 season winding down and Black Ops II is starting to gear up – it is still nice to see new content becoming available. Call of Duty MW3 Collection 4 will now become available September 6th for Xbox which means everyone else will have to wait until October… Take a look with me on what we will get eventually.
New Game Mode Chaos
If you haven’t seen this mode – it is pretty intense. Think Spec-Ops on crack with endless waves of enemies coming to get you! It actually is a lot of fun (Yes, I snuck on an Xbox and played a bit of it.). As of this writing I still see the dreaded “Coming Soon” message for September.
Chaos Game Mode
A whole new way to play Call of Duty®, Special Ops Chaos mode delivers the ultimate in arcade mayhem. Experience truly heart-pounding and adrenaline-fueled action while competing for high scores in Resistance, Village, Underground and Dome. Chain kills together against a never-ending onslaught of enemies to increase your combo multiplier and earn performance enhancing perks. Choose your route through each map to optimize weapon pickups, attack, and escape options. Play solo, split screen or online with a friend to take out as many enemies as possible before they take you down or the clock hits zero.
Multiplayer Maps
OK – We don’t have Decommission or Off Shore in the regular rotation yet (which is a blessing IMO) but I’m still kind of pissed that we’ll have to wait until OCTOBER (ELITE Premium Only!) to get the final maps. By the time they get into regular rotation Black Ops II will be out and all of this will be moot. Anyways – read below what the final MP maps are going to be!
Gulch
Decades after fires charred this forgotten mining town, the red rock canyon gains new shades of red as a mid-sized Multiplayer Map in which the surrounding mountains, mine shafts, and equipment sheds craft a perfect setting for combat.
Boardwalk
Head to the Jersey Coast for a sunny afternoon of boardwalk-based Multiplayer battle in which you’ll face your enemies on the beach and fight for dominance at the arcade while still finding time to cut the line at the rollercoaster.
Parish
Wishful thinking won’t keep you safe in New Orleans’ war-torn French Quarter, where a local bombed-out parish plays host to a smaller-sized Multiplayer Map well suited for those who want to run-and-gun amidst the city’s rubble.
Spec Ops
Infinity Ward hasn’t forgotten about those who love Spec Ops. With the final two missions set for release in September for Elite Premium Members.
Light Em’ Up
A VIP has been captured and detained within Makarov’s castle, and it’s up to you to breach the fortress and get him out. Take control of a small helicopter, secure the hostage, and evacuate before dawn’s first light in this new Special Ops mission.
Special Delivery
Deep behind enemy lines, an allied flight crew helplessly awaits their fate at a nearby crash site. Pairing up a soldier on the ground and a helicopter gunner equipped with care packages, the Special Ops mission objective is to overcome the enemy resistance and rescue the allied crew.

Although this is for *ahem* Xbox – Still will give you an idea of what PS3 players will be getting!
Conclusion
So that will end the season for Call of Duty MW3. Although a majority of players will just say “Good Riddance” I’m going to be kind of bittersweet about the whole thing. What do you think – has it been the word COD game in the series? Or are you going to be sad to see it go? Leave me a comment and tell me what you think!
