Sorry folks – late as usual I know. It’s been one helluva week. I bring you this weeks Call of Duty MW3 Updates for PS3. But we do have some good news and some bad usual with this weeks updates. Read on as what has been released for the PS3 as well as the issues a LOT of people are continuing to have apparently.
Free Map Terminal Released
Finally PS3 players get to play the MW2 map ported to MW3 – Terminal! How does it play? It is it just like the old one? The answer is yes it is exactly like the old map! Still the same issues of course with snipers and corner hiders. But overall it is probably one of the best maps MW3 has now lol!
Oh, and if you don’t want to download it because you could care less about the map? Tough nuts according to Activision:

ELITE Premium – Decommission and Offshore Released!
ELITE Premium players get their first taste of Offshore and Decommission also! I jumped in on a couple of matches and all I can say is that they are big cluster f**ks. But they are surprisingly fun too! Especially for Domination. Oh yea – there is a new Spec Op map too Vertigo. (Sorry just don’t play them much!) Look below for the descriptions.

A graveyard of rotting ocean liners has not only given birth to a shantytown of locals, but a mid-sized Multiplayer Map populated in chokepoints; providing the perfect setting for shoreline-based combat.

Trapped on an oil rig in the middle of the ocean, you have nowhere to go but directly at your enemies in this new Multiplayer map boasting helipads, cranes, and countless perches for snipers eager to pick off the competition. Did we mention to look down or else you may fall off?
Spec Ops Map

Vertigo
The luxurious “Oasis” hotel in Dubai hosts the latest Special Ops mission, in which players must use laser-guided RPG’s to dispatch waves of helicopters. Utilize rooftop advantage to defend from waves of enemies, before parachuting to a ground-level exfil point.
Double Weapon XP
And we get Double Weapon XP this weekend. So if your planning on working on a Prestige or just want to get that one weapon skilled up quick now is the time to do it!

My site gets hammered every time there is an update. Unfortunately I don’t really have that great an answer. This time around I was able to update without any issues. This is how I installed the new maps:
- Start Call of Duty MW3
- Go to the Store Link
- Select the Map Packs – Careful they are dependent upon the REGION of your Game and PS3. Mine is Region 1 with code BLU 30838. It is important that you PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THIS or they will not work.
- Download and Install as Normal
And like I said above – it is mandatory that you download the free map Terminal (and pretty much all the content) if you want to be able to play online correctly.
