Advertisers have been pushing their toys on TV pretty heavy now. So when my son “I want that!” I tend to perk up from whatever I was doing (i.e. snoozing). These are some of the toys he decided he wants for Christmas this year!
Zoomer the Robot Dog – $80.00
I can tell you that every time this little pup comes up on the television my son goes nuts for him! Now you can get a dog without all the mess lol. With Zoomer you can teach this little robot dog to speak, roll over, shake a paw, and more! For around $80.00 you can get Zoomer in White, Pink, or Purple!
Big Hugs Elmos – $59.99
I remember from my stint in retail how big the original “Tickle Me Elmo” was. So its not surprising that this made it onto this list. This guy had definitely graduated from his giggling original. With this guy your kiddo can interact with him and he will respond in different ways. He has four different ‘imagination’ scenarios and if you lay Elmo down? He will act like he is going to sleep.
Furby Boom! – $64.99
Now Furby has always creeped me out. I dunno why. Possibly because I watched the movie Gremlins as a kid and its stuck with me. Well I know that my kids LOVE Furby. This little creature has a mind of its own. And based on how your child interacts with it is the way it will behave. Of course there is the Furby Boom! Companion app that will allow your child to collect and raise virtual Furby’s as well.
TMNT Shellraiser Vehicle – $59.99
If you haven’t seen the recent reboot of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? Its actually not as terrible as you’d think. The animation style has improved but they stayed true to all of the characters. Anyways – my son absolutely loves this show! So I wasn’t surprised to seeing this make the list either. This remote control version of the Shellraiser vehicle is a remote control RC car that shoots manhole covers.
LEGO Ultimate Building Set – $30.00
OK, this is my personal favorite pick. Probably not the “hot seller” of the season. But if your going to be giving kids toys? Give them something that they can use their imagination with! Plus there is no need for batteries and it comes in its own storage container! Of course the only bad thing about LEGO? Stepping on them in the middle of the night. It is all worth it though.
Of course if I had my own personal favorite LEGO set to get? It would be the LEGO Minecraft The Nether set 🙂
