How to Install New Maps for PS3 Call of Duty MW3 DLC

I had originally created a simple video to install MW3 Maps. This has now grown to an unofficial PS3 FAQ for errors d/l or installing the new DLC Content.  Look to the steps below on how to download, install, and play the maps!

 

 

Please Read:  I will be creating an updated FAQ/Download for Black Ops 2 TODAY Unfortunately I’m at work right now.  Please feel free to leave a comment with your questions below though!

How To Install New Maps for PS3

 

Update: Activision apparently finally provided a tutorial with pictures. So you can read below for the quick and dirty version – or go to their link here to see some pretty pictures on how to d/l as well.

  • Start up Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 (*duh* ;-p )
  • Go to ‘Play Multiplayer’
  • Select the new option ‘STORE’
  • It will take you out of the game and then directly to the PS3 Store
  • You will see the Downloads Available there
  • Select a Map by pressing the X button.
  • Select Download in the next screen.
  • Select “Download in Background”
  • It will take you back to the first screen.
  • Rinse and Repeat
  • After you have selected the Maps and you exit the Store – you will be returned to the game. Exit COD: MW3 Immediately in order to continue downloading the maps!
  • Then Install each Map.. then continue reading to figure out how to actually play them.

How Do I Play the New Maps?

I will admit it took me awhile to figure this out too. But then again I was trying to get this posted for you folks, play a match, upload to YouTube, and take care of my sick wife… so please give me a little break?  Oh, and the below instructions are not verbatim.. but should point you in the right direction at least.
  • You will need to go to your Playlist under MultiPlayer
  • Under the INITIAL Playlist options
  • You will see an ELITE playlist – THIS is where you get to play the new maps. They are ELITE Premium lobbies – sorry folks – if you didn’t pay you don’t get to play. (Hence why I keep trying to pimp the ELITE Premium service!)
Under there you will see 3 Options:
  • ELITE Standard – You get to play TD, Domination, and KC
  • ELITE Ricochet (Hardcore) – The above in hardcore mode.
  • ELITE Objective – S&D, Demolition, CTF(?)

8/16 Free Map Terminal and ELITE Premium Content Update

You should read my post HERE on why you might be receiving the problems you’ve been having with not getting the new content (or seeing anything at all for that matter). Unfortunately Activision Support doesn’t show anything really for those reporting no content in the Playstation Store error.

Update: Activision Support updated their site about the “No Content Found Error” when you go to the PS3 Store and nothing shows up. Click HERE to directly to the post. Essentially they say if you do see multiple regions you should download the one that says BLU BLES-01428 and it should work.

This is a screen shot of what they are talking about the “Product Code” you need. To find out  your local one you will need to look on the “Spine” of the game box your disk came in.  The one I’m showing is for my region the U.S.

7/19 Face Off Map Update 

YOU WILL NEED TO RE-DOWNLOAD ALL YOUR MAPS YET AGAIN - Follow the Video on how to do this – make sure to download and re-install EVERYTHING and you should be fine. I just had to do it… again and it worked fine.  Still no word on how to fix if your getting the “<map> Corrupted error”.

6/21/2012 PATCH NOTES UPDATE

The latest patch blew away all of my DLC Content and apparently the PS Store was down for a bit afterwards. You will need to go in and re-download the maps again. For ELITE Premium players this means… each map by hand. For those who purchased the Collection packs?  You are lucky – you only have to download the two Collection packs and the Freebie maps for the new Game Mode!

If you continue to have issues – check out the video on how to delete your COD MW3 game data and re-patch/download the maps again. Hopefully that fixes it. GG Sony and Activision!

I tweeted Activision Support about it and this was the answer I received!  If you are having other issues and re-installing the maps do not fix it – you will need to go to their site and hopefully they have an answer!

 

FAQ

Q: I lost All of my DLC Maps after the Latest Patch!

  • A: Read above – you will need to re-download (ALL OF) them from the Playstation 3 Store
Q: I’m getting the ever dreaded “No Content Found” Error when I go Online? WTF?
  • It means you didn’t download the map packs correctly or it fubard during the install process.  You should re-download all of the content that applies to you (Free Maps, Collection Packs, or ELITE content). Make sure you are downloading and installing the Validation Codes found within the packs or they won’t work. Worst case? Delete you data – which only removes your Saved Games and Spec Ops data! Then re-patch and re-download. If that doesn’t work? Contact Activision Support.

Q: I am unable to play <X> Map or I receive an error after I have installed the maps.

  • A: You either did not download all of the map packs (including the free FACE OFF maps and SPEC OP Maps!) or something fubard. You can try just re-downloading the content again through the playstation store or if that doesn’t work? Look at the video below on how to wipe your data (which will wipe your spec ops stats!) and try re-downloading yet again. There is an article from support.activision.com that might be able to help you as well. It pretty much states what I already told you in the youtube video though!
Q: I have something really fubard going on with my Playstation 3 and Modern Warfare 3 and the above steps didn’t fix it!
  • A:  Then um.. go to Activision Support and do a Search there. Hopefully they have an answer to why your PS3 is glowing green and spinning around the room. :-D
Q: Do I Need ELITE Premium if I purchased the NON-ELITE Map Packs?
  • No. You only need ELITE Premium if you wish to take part in Clan Ops, Lone Wolf Ops, and have early access to downloadable content. (Plus you would have saved 10 bucks on the DLC).
Q: I am getting the following type of error: Required Map Pack DLC 1 Is Missing or Damaged – Error Message
  • (Source: support.activision.com) This may occur if you are trying to join a match with players that have the most current DLC (Downloadable Content) while not having the content on your own console. This is a rare issue. If you find that you are unable to join a match after receiving this error, restart the console and enter Multiplayer Mode.
  • Ensure that you purchased the correct regional DLC for your region and game disc. The region of the Game Disc must match that of the console and location of the account in order for this DLC to function.

What I gather from this? You either downloaded the wrong map pack (for your region for those  in Europe, Australia or other parts unknown :-) )  You can read more from Activision Support about how this whole Region business works here.

Or your screwed – reboot the console and hopefully it works again. I would suggest going and talking with Activision Support

    Please help with new DLC. Can you please tell me how I would now play the new maps? DO I have to wait for them to go into rotation while multiplayer? It’s been a whole day of trying and it still hasn’t come up I may be doing something wrong

      Bobby – The maps are only available under the “ELITE” playlist. Go to your Player List and look for it under the initial list there. You can select either the standard ELITE which – you will be playing TD, Domination, or KC, Hardcore (Ricochet), or Objective. Don’t feel bad though I didn’t figure it out until I had to go asleep! *derp*

    i purchased elite premium today and downloaded the new maps. but when i went to play them it tells me that ‘required map pack dlc 1 is missing or damaged’ I’ve tried downloading each map like 5 times and it still comes up with it. please help :)

      I don’t know – that is kind of strange – maybe it hasn’t synched your account yet? If it still doesn’t work you might have to work with Sony or Activision’s support to figure it out. I’ll see if I can find out a better answer but no promises.

    I am also having Toms problem. Whenever i go to the elite game playlist it says “”map pack dlc 2 is missing or damaged” Ive redownloaded both 3 times and still no luck!

      Unfortunately all I’ve seen on the internet so far has been to “re-install the maps”. If I find out anything more I’ll make sure to post the fix here.

        I had the same problems. I noticed that the map packs were showing where my games show up. when the map pack is highlighted, press the triangle and “click” on install. for some reason they didn’t install when they downloaded. Maybe this will help someone else.

    Same problem as Caslos and Tom here … Tried switching PS3 on and off, logging off PSN. Nothing works, so I guess I’ll try to re-install the maps then.

    I have this same problem since Saturday Sony and activation cannot help, I’ve dl number times done all sorts it just keeps saying DLC 1 missing or damaged

      The only fix I’ve heard that worked has been to delete and re-install both maps. You will need to have BOTH maps downloaded and installed in order to be able to access them.

      An extreme fix might be to reset your PS3 back to defaults and start all over re-installing your games etc. Of course you will want to try and save all of your saved game data.

    BTW folks.. These instructions should work the same for the non-elite map pack coming out sometime in April.

    Haven’t played the new maps yet. Between the original maps on MW3, the original maps on BF3, and the Back to Karkand expansion pack, I don’t think I will be buying any new maps until Black Ops 2 comes out.

      Jenny – thanks for dropping by. This is the whole reason why I created this article. BTW – this will work for ELITE Premium users who need to install their content as well as when the DLC content for non-premium users have it available sometime in April!

      Logan – Nope you only need ELITE Premium to get the maps “early”. And if you wait until April you can get the First DLC pack for non-Elite Members for $15.00 bucks. The thing is you won’t be able to take part in Clan-Ops or the other things ELITE members get to do. My suggestion is spend the $49.99 now – to me it’s worth the value you get for it.

      Go to your Game Data Utility -> Locate Modern Warfare 3 -> Click on the Triangle -> Select Delete.
      The bad news is that you will most likely lose your game save data (campaign) as well. And you will need to re-download any patches to the game again.

    ok. this latest map pack for Black Box came out and ive downloaded it twice! But it still wont let me play on the new maps and stuff. idk what to do!the first three map packs have worked fine but this one is giving me a lot of trouble! Please help! ive downloaded it, installed it but nothing! im out of ideas!

    BTW – Finally was able to update.. with no issues. Just followed the directions I have in the youtube vid to get you to the store. Make sure you download and install ALL of the ELTE drops. I have a feeling if you forget to install one it screws the pooch.

      If you go to Multiplayer -> Play Online and you get to the Playlists (i.e. Standard Playlist) you do not see one marked Elite Playlist?
      *sigh* (not at you) I really need to get that FAQ up and running. Sorry folks just been really busy trying to get things together.

    some map packs in the PS Store dont say elite required and dont show an Elite logo so i bought em THEN it said i needed Elite to play?no refund? .f**k COD/ELITE this type of marketing trend will come back to bite them in the ass or i f***in will!

      I agree it is confusing. And Sony’s store sucks when it comes to figuring out downloading and purchasing. I would contact Sony about the refund as they should give it to you if you contact them.

      There are rumors that the exclusivity contract ends with Black Ops II at least. But Elite will continue which is both good and a bad thing.

    I highly reccomend players don’t buy this pack, after an hour on the phone to activision, and 20 minutes with sony, they have established that u can only play the old maps as they can only have 1 playlist and at the minute that is the elite playlist, so players who did purchase dlc collection 1 will basically have to play old maps coz of the new drop 7&8 whih obviously are for premium members at additional cost.. I will never purchase from activision again.

          Go to the store…..Download the free map content, then download both required access keys from within collection 1 & 2…..restart, and all everything was in its right place….no red error messages!!!!

    I am confused… I waited and purchased the DLC content the other night. Took forever to DL too.
    I see the Elite playlist, but get the errors above (says they are not available). I am not an Elite Premium bubba (yet). I don’t play that often, so I was hoping to just download some new maps (aka DLC) like previous COD games and get to shootin. Will I ever get them to work, or do I need to purchase Elite Prem??? So far, seems like a waste of $14.99. Ugh! Thax for any help.

      If you purchased Collection 1. Then it will be in the general rotation of maps. You will NOT be able to get into the ELITE player lists unless you have a Premium account.

      I’m trying to find the time to re-do the video with explanations and I’ll go through and re-write the article. But with having a lil’ guy and a family life… it is rough to try and find the time to do it!

    I have tried download the DLC but i cant seem to find the code matching the side of my case on the download list . If it helps my code is BLUS-30838 i live in the uk my ps3 is from the usa and i don’t know were my game is from please help i want to play the free face off maps

      Joe – Um. If you to go to the store from within the game – it should take you to the links to download all of the map packs. You will look for the one with the “blue” background which indicates the two new Face Off maps.

      But – I’m not sure if the PS3 is “regional” meaning if you live in the UK – you need to use a “UK” model or not.

        Here is what I found on Wikipedia: “PlayStation Store only contains content for its own country, for example the UK store will not supply usable map packs for an imported US copy of Call of Duty 4″. I know that is about CoD4, but I am sure that the same rule applies to MW3, so it needs a zone 2 copy of MW3 in order to download the new maps.

    Jason, I’m betting that you used a zone 3 MW3 along with a USA PSN account! :) Anyway, I couldn’t install until now the new maps on my Xbox. Guess what: since I am in Romania, I can access my Uk Live account, but I cannot download any map. The error says something like this: this content is not supported in your region, so I must use a VPN in order to get the new maps. Stupid restrictions, you just gotta love them!
    P.S. I don’t know what’s wrong with the blog, maybe another bog, but I cannot give you a replay!

      I’m thinking most of the people visiting today either lost the maps with the last patch or forgot to get their token activated from the website?

    COD on PS3: I have downloaded the new pac collection 2 and able to access new content. However, when I first enter in the multiplayer screen and into a party there it is displaying a message in red saying I am “playing with orginal maps only”….etc. how come it doesnt see that I have downloaded content? is it affecting my gameplay anyhow?

      If you are in a lobby and receiving that message? It probably means that someone doesn’t have the pack installed.

      If you are getting that message at the Multiplayer screen (before entering a game mode) then you need to check to see if you can press the SELECT button to remove it.

      If you can’t remove it at the Multiplayer Menu? You will need to re-download BOTH DLC packs again before the new maps will be playable. Known issue from the patch on 6/21 apparently.

    Hey, I’m having a strange problem. Everything was fine until the patch update on the 21st, but now the game is giving me a message saying “Playing with original maps only, download all DLC you are entitled to, blah blah blah… and yet I can still play all the maps from the Collection 2 playlist! It just gets me a bit annoyed because I usually only play Kill Confirmed and now I can’t play it with the new maps…

    Hi all,

    UK user here.

    I Just tried to download the map-pack (1) after MW3 updated today (PS3) and when going to play online it said I need to d/load the maps (all were bought and installed months ago).

    I have tried to d/load and install both in game and prior to starting the game, both ways they d/load and install but as soon as I start the game I’m told I do not have them installed.

      Clan mate says he had to go into ELITE and accept a user agreement before he was able to play though..

    This whole download mess is VERY ANNOYING considering I spent $14.99 for the DLC pack and all i get for my purchase is a message repeating EVERYTIME it turn my PS3 on saying I have maps to download. Jayzus people get your sh*t together BEFORE you sell this to the public. Hopefully I can get this resolved but from my past “experiences” withPS3 dowmloads I wont be in a hurry to buy another one !!!!! Fire the incompetant idiots in charge of software download programing! They’re costing your company MILLIONS in SALES !

    Just curious,
    I have downloaded Collection 2 several times to no avail. I have also downloaded the “free” packs “Erosion” and “Elite Theme” several times.
    STILL nothing but the annoying “red message” that mocks me everytime I turn on my PS3 and go to online Multiplayer…… “Playing with original maps only. Download all DLC …….blah,blah,blah ”
    Grrrrrrrrrr, fist through screen time, looming!

    Do I have to spend another $14.99 for DLC Collection 1 to make this shite work?

      You try deleting your game data? Also go into ELITE as you might have to sign some type of user agreement before you can play the new maps.

    I was wondering if you have to go in a delete the saved data before you re-download the DLC, will your XP and weapons all be lost? If your like me and play the campaign, will all that be lost as well?

    Sorry for the “frustration factor” my rant got a bit over the top.

    I think the confusion lies with the downloading. I didnt realize there were 8 SEPERATE downloads. I had downloaded 4 maps (several of then 2 or 3 times).
    Then i backed right out of the game and went into the store via the PS3 online.
    I went through the downloading process again (after noticing the slide bar and discovering the 8 seperate downloads). It took about 20 minutes to download and install all of them.

    When I went back into MW3 . Then into”multiplayer” the new maps are there. (yay)

    When trying to play the new maps there seems to be quite a slow down for matching people.
    It seems like the “matching” of multiplayers has slowed to a crawl due to the new maps. The 8-10 person groups I was in that selected the new maps vs an old maps (people chose the “new” vs “old 99% of the time) took a very long time to populate. Even when you choose the option to “go to the old maps” it still seems like it takes an inordinate amount of time.

    I’m assuming the ELITE Premium doesnt have this ‘matching” prob.
    I wonder what the difference is?

    The maps are very nice. I keep getting killed because im so busy looking around :)

      Lol no the match making system sucks big time.

      I’m thinking people are forgetting that they need to download all of the content including the spec op/face off maps as well.

    Ok so I have tried to download the maps at least 3 times now, I have since lost Liberation, Overwatch and Piazza….I know in your video you say to delete game files, but I really dont want to lose all my prestige etc… can you please help?

      Did you make sure you downloaded ALL the maps including the spec op and free Face Off maps?

      If you don’t dl/install everything apparently it won’t work.

    Will you loose all your prestige and levels when you erase the game data? I am on level 9 and don’t want to loose all the prestige points. Is there a way to get the maps back without loosing the saved info? Thanks

      Chris – no you will only lose the SPEC-OPS data – not your online multi-player stats. But I would use this as a last ditch effort. Make sure you have tried re-downloading all of the map packs – including the Spec-Ops and Face Off maps! Then if you are STILL having an issue? Try the data wipe.

      I don’t play much Spec-Ops so I couldn’t give two um nickels about it.

    I have just purchased the MW3 Collection 2. I have downloaded it, over and over many times and it has still yet to work.. When I try and play it, it says the required map Sanctuary is missing or damaged. I have deleted all the game data twice now and re-downloaded all 7 of the downloads. I’m not sure of what to do now.. Do I have to purchase Collection 1 for it to work? I have the free face-off maps and I’m not sure of what to do at this point..

      Unfortunately you got me on this one. I’m not sure if you have to have Collection 1 or not but it wouldn’t make sense to have it as a mandatory dl in order for Collection 2 to work.

      It sounds like maybe your getting a bad download? The only thing you haven’t tried is resetting the entire PS3 which I wouldn’t recommend. I would try Activision Support and hopefully they can figure this one out. I would try Twitter first then their online service.

      Sucks… But if you could reply back if you figire it out and I’ll make sure to have the page updated.

    Uhm, really? you have to purchase elite premium membership? i was just in gamestop, buying the DLC, which was $14.99, and now i have to go out and buy a fucking (what it said on the package) $58 membership? fuck that! #refunds???

      You don’t need Elite Premium if you bought the map collection pack.

    I’m an elite premium member and I downloaded everything. When I go to multiplayer I see the red “still playing with original maps”. I see liberation and piazza in the private match option but I cannot play it on MP. Also “Black Box”(Downed Air forced one) did not download and I cannot play on multiplayer.

    To fix the problem of the maps not working (yes it did happen to me) look at the side of the gane case under the rating there should be a code myne is BLES01428 then go to the download store and make sure you download the one with the right code (also make sure you download the access key with they right code aswell)

    I have the collection one, and two map packs but i can only play collection two because of the playlist for it. Can i play them in the standard playlist, but still play with map packs? How do you play both map packs?

      If you have them both installed they should show up in the rotation. But I played last night and only played piazza once!

    when i go to store through the game to download new content in the face off map pack there is only aground available and not erosion, and there is 6 or 7 agrounds to download all the same size. whats going on?

      The two free FaceOff maps should be a single download with Aground and Erosion? I don’t know why it doesn’t work. I would try testing to see by creating a private match and see if both maps are available there. If not? Then try re-downloading and installing them again.

    I downloaded & installed DLC map pack 1 & there is no ‘elite playlist’ when I look for it – instead it says ‘collection 2 playlists’…. When I select this it tells me to go to the Playstation store……. WHAT IS GOING ON?!…..
    I’ve downloaded CoD Elite (free version), downloaded all of the correct BLES- 04128 versions of the DLC content needed & am still unable to play TDM online with the new maps (even though they are available to selecet for offline multiplayer)…..HELP!

      Ok if they are showing up when you create a private match? It means they should be available in the regular rotation of maps. The problem I have been seeing lately is that you just don’t see them in the rotation that much…. like at all.

      I played the other night and got in about 10 matches. 5 of which were Oasis (Collection 2)! I played one game on Piazza (Collection 1).

      I think that the map rotation online is slightly fubard. But I would possibly bug support.activision.com and see if they have some additional information. Or bug them on Twitter – I provided the twitter feed you will probably get a quicker response there.

        I forgot to mention that when I open the ‘Collection 2 playlists’ it comes up with a notice saying that DLC content is required. Required map Sanctuary is missing or damaged…?
        why this is even having a reference to Map pack 2, I have no idea…… I’m so confused right now.

    i’m having the same problem as Mat_D, i pre-ordered collection 2 and it says sanctuary is missing or damaged. i have looked everywhere for answers to this and mark rubin is having trouble trying to come up with reasons why this is happening. so far this site is the most help i’ve had.

      Connor – I’m still looking but I’m not seeing anything definitive on how to fix it. My original fix was for only those who originally patched and had to re-download.

      There are a few things that Activision Support wants you to try but they seem like a joke. If I do get any information I’ll make sure to pop it on here. But don’t hold your breathe. :(

    THIS WORKED FOR ME!!!! I wrote this in my reply above but thought it could use reposting….maybe it will work for you

    I had both map packs that worked until i got the red error message saying i needed to download what was allowed to me from the store….i tried a million times to delete and reinstall with no solution to the problem until i read a small post on another site that everyone seemed to be over looking. I tried it and it worked!!

    Go to the store…download the free map content (erosion or something), then download both required access keys for collection 1 & 2 (I only downloaded the keys…not the entire collections) install, restart PS3, and start online play. NO RED ERRORS….everything was where it was suppose to be and i can play all bought packs!

    Finally i can play!!!

      I tried just downloading just the keys for the collection 1 & 2 – didn’t work… Re-downloaded everything again including the keys – and it worked.

      Maybe people can try to download just the new maps and the keys and see if it works though! Thanks for the tips!

      If you don’t have the MW3 DLC links in the PS3 Store? I would contact activision support or more than likely Sony’s Playstation support. I have always had the link show up in the store. I would try possibly resetting your PS3 (which will lose everything on your PS3 unless you back it up first) But this is a drastic measure!

    Trying to download the DLC 1 Collection i am an elite founder well first when i got the game and to the store direct from mw3 DLC 1 & 2 are not there then when i go to the regular store DLC 1 & 2 is still not there under mw3 add-ons but when search modern warfare 3 dlc its there but 2 isnt and when hit X on 1 its says “This content cannot be accessed on your account”

      This is a case where you will need to contact Activision Support. Something is up with your account. Especially if your a Premium member and a Founder. Sounds like it has to be something they have to tweak on the back end.

      If you go to the PS3 Store choose Addons then select A-D and then scroll down to Call of Duty MW3. You should see a bunch of stuff to download including the new map Terminal. If you don’t? Then I suggest contacting Activision Support or Sony support to find out the issue. I looked online and don’t see anything on their page about this. But I did see that for my region (U.S.) I have a code BLU-30838. I would find out what the code should be in your area.

      I know that some folks have had to go so nuts as to find a proxy that connected to their region for PS3 to show the correct version to download. (Which you will need to Google to figure out how to setup a Proxy through your home network) Unfortunately that is all I have.

      Has to be an issue with the region your in from what I have read. At this point I would try contacting Sony and Activision. I would try getting a hold of Activision on Twitter as they are pretty quick at responding.

    So, I went to the store and downloaded Terminal….but when I press “X” to go into a playlist, it gives me the message “New downloadable content, do you want to download now.” Why does it keep giving me this AFTER I downloaded Terminal. Any ideas?

    Need to install Terminal as it is a mandatory dl in order to play online. If your having issues still after dl? Re read the post with the latest update.

      Hi jason,i’ve seen your video and it helped me a bit,but i have another problem,the thing is i’m not a premium member and all i want is to only play old maps…so when i try multyplayer online,they ask me if i want to download the free add-ons,the ones required to play (Erosion,Agroud,terminal)..so i went to download them,i checked the right code (BLES-01428) and downloaded the right ones,but when the download is done,i have to go to “Game” to install the maps,but i couldn’t find them…so i though it installed it automaticaly..but it didn’t,i tried to re-download them,but the same thing happens…any suggestions ?

        I think the only mandatory dl would be Terminal. I checked to see if Activision updated their site… and still nothing about a fix. Sorry I couldn’t help more with this.

            Glenn – where are you located at? The link I supplied in the article states for “Certain Regions – Content might not be available” – which might mean you. Another reader here suggests trying to go directly to the PSN Store and see if it is available that way instead of clicking on the “Store” link from within the game to see if it shows up.

            If it doesn’t? Then it is still an open issue with Activision. You can try reaching them online at Twitter (again I posted this in the article on who to bug) and maybe they can get your squared away that way.

        Unfortunately I don’t really have a great answer for you. There is a known issue Activision is supposedly working. But have you made sure you are downloading the correct version of Terminal? Make sure your downloading the correct version code from the PSN store. I would try bombing out of the game and go directly to the PSN store and see if it is available that way. If you don’t see anything available? This is the issue a bunch of people are experiencing. Click on the Activision Support link I supplied on here to see if they have provided a fix. Or bug them on Twitter.

        If you do find a fix please reply back with it and I will gladly post the fix up on here for everyone else who is having the issue.

      Hi guys and kaitlyn, i’ve found a way to install the downloaded maps,the thing is,when going to the store to download the free content,as Jason said,only “Terminal” is mandatory,when starting the download with the exact code you have on your disc,do not exit to backgroud download,do not quit the store while downloading the map,wait until the download is complete,and it will install the map automaticaly,and then go back to the game and you can play online ..i did it and it worked perfectly for me,i hope it will for you guys too,please let me know if it worked for you guys :)

      Is this for PS3? You don’t need to put the product code anywhere. When you download them there is the code that allows you to play them. Make sure if you purchased it that you put in the correct key in the playstation store.
