Yesterdays release of two new maps for Call of Duty MW3 were released the folks over at Infinity Ward / Activision released their DLC Calendar. Looks like the next nine months of my life have been filled.
There were rumors of possibly adding additional Spec-Op missions – but by the looks of the calendar it will be the regular multiplayer only fare. Which does kind of suck – I personally enjoy Spec-Ops and would have like to have seen additional content. Treyarch added additional Zombie packs… so why couldn’t Infinity Ward?
Oh wait – I still need to get the Call of Duty Elite Premium Service ($49.99 a year) in order to get the new content. And as a double whammy if your a PS3 player (such as myself PSN: avgjoegeek) you have to wait 30 days later. Or you can wait until they release them as a separate DLC pack for $14.99 a pop. Call of Duty plans on releasing 4 DLC packs for those who refuse to shell out for the Elite Premium Server up front. So spend the 50 bucks now or 90 bucks later? It’s up to you to decide.
Also still no news on how PC gamers are going to get it. Or IF they even ever will?
Anyways, you can check out the calendar here.
