The Bad Blogger – My Review and Shameless Plug

I’ve decided to start writing about the blogs I enjoy going to. I hope for this to become one of many I start doing. Today’s blog is brought to you by “The Bad Blogger”.  Beware of the site is very much NSFW (Not Safe For Work) due to the site having scantily clad women.

Do you like pretty women? Sure you do. Do you want to learn how to become successful in the blogging/online marketing world? Of course you do. If you answered YES! to both of these? Then I would highly suggest visiting The Bad Blogger! Touted as “Where Money and Sex are Concerned” he has done what advertisers have known for years… Sex Sells. If your worried about being PC (Politically Correct) – then I suggest you don’t go there. If you want to learn how to blog successfully and you can focus on the articles and not the ladies he has inter mingled within the site? Then I highly suggest you give him a read.

Although some might think the “sex” aspect of the site might detract from his articles – it seems to work pretty well (for me at least lol!). His articles on blogging and making money online are well thought out, insightful, and has his unique perspective and personality in every article. You don’t get the sense that anything he writes is “canned” or “re-hashed”. And alot of it will make you think and change the way your are currently blogging today! Also the site is very easy to navigate (while uh.. I need to work on mine) and laid out to be very easy to read and not cramped with a bunch of garbage (shit… back to the drawing board).

I suggest reading “7 Common Phrases you Should Never Say if  You Want to be Successful” and “5 Core Principles of Effective Blog Design” just to get you started. I know I’ll be re-visiting his site to keep me on track personally.

So get over there now and check him out! The Bad Blogger will help you with great informative articles as well as the nice “window dressing” of the ladies.  Check out the snapshot below and go ahead and click on it. You know you want to ;-p

    I was actually able to visit that site and I admit, at first, I was caught off guard due to the ladies’ pictures but then, I realized that the articles in it are quite interesting and helpful to me as well as to my husband. :) Thanks!

    I’ve visited Bad Blogger but wasn’t comfortable there. The articles even though being interesting left me with a sense of shame. But yeah as you mentioned, sex sells. Great review.

      His site definitely isn’t for everyone – but he has a unique perspective with his articles and I enjoy reading his posts. LOL if anything get a script to turn off the images so you can just read his stuff – or look at his mobile version!

    I’ve know Wong a long time now and he continues to grow his blog like I’ve never seen before. I remember at one time I had to e-mail him, he’s been pretty bad in the past aka @thebadblogger baby! But you know he has come along way and has focused his blog in the right direction.

      Brian – thanks for visiting the site! For those folks who don’t know he runs http://www.blogengage.com – if you want to get found on the internet his site is definitely one of the sites to sign up on!

      I enjoy visiting his blog… and not just for the ladies. I like his unique approach and writing style. He has managed to take a niche and make it his own.

      As for his communication? He found out about this article and replied while he was on vacation! The guy is on top of things now.

    First two para of this post is awesome! I think this is the good idea for attracting the visitors but also there are some risk in implementing this type of trick. what about bounce rate? What you say if some good visitors open a blog and find this type of image then they visit again? I think they immediately close the window and through this blog get high bounce rate. I am totally confused in this, what to do? Please advice…

      Brain, believe it or not it is quite effective! Plus his content is very good you tend to stop focusing on the pretty ladies. I wouldn’t recommend this for everyone – but his method works quite well. That and he has an awesome design! I would highly suggest putting his site on one of your daily reads.
